Fortnight 31, Day 4. First theme day of the fortnight, much to Marc's chagrin. Trevor gets excited about a tennis player but it's not the right one. Marc talks himself out of yet another correct answer, and we both get the theme but it didn't help a ton.

Fortnight 31, Day 3. Marc has some serendipity at play to help him with a few questions. Trevor struggles on what we think will turn out to be a tough day overall. Props to all those who got Maine!

Lots of talking!

Fortnight 31, Day 2. Today's discussions go a bit on the long side for several questions as there was a bit of uncertainty to go around. We talk about MLS uniforms, how to speak spanish, new and returning Olympic sports, and NHL all-time great defensemen. 

For one of us, it was name a city in Azerbaijan

Fortnight 31, Day 1. Kicking off the Priest Holmes fortnight, we get off to good starts. We end up talking a lot about old time basketball and the lack of our organized basketball experience. Trevor loses a coin flip and Marc has a bit of a lucky guess but it all works out in the end.

Fortnight 30 Meistershaft

Marc proctors Trevor on this seasons Meistershaft. We end up tying and one of us almost nails the closest to the pin. Trevor talks out his process on most of the questions, although a couple were automatics for him. Congrats to all the winners, we would've been close but not good enough to win the premiership division.

Not another Zach Edey situation

Fortnight 30, Day 12. Marc is playing to stay in Endtimes North Premiership and Trevor is in an honor match. We have a good discussion about African women's soccer (with bonus geography trivia) and men's tennis players. Congrats to Sean Vinsel for winning the Talkpocalypse private division title!

Cy Young's stats are bonkers for todays game

Fortnight 30, Day 11. Final regular season match of the fortnight, and Trevor and Marc are matching up yet again head to head. Trevor comes oh so close to pulling the answer to question 2 and Marc likewise is very close on question 5.

Fortnight 30, Day 10. Trevor and Marc go head to head in the Talkpocalypse private division. We talk about the draft, old timey hockey, how we both played the same position in soccer in high school, and classic 3 point shooters. Who will come out on top?

Will Marc finally figure out a theme day?

Fortnight 30, Day 9. Second theme day of the fortnight and getting right down to the nitty gritty of the regular matches. We both end up figuring it out but in different ways, which is always interesting.

Never play Roulette

Fortnight 30, Day 8. Roulette is a terrible game for the players, and the stupid 00 makes it even worse. We also discuss alternate hockey games (luckily for Marc he's played this game before) and all-time great pitchers with many All Star game appearances.
