Covid and Thunderstorms can't slow us down

Fortnight 30, Day 6. Trevor has his Jordan Covid game and Marc records his thoughts in the middle of a New Hampshire summer thunderstorm. We roll through questions about amazing Egyptian goal scorers, an arena Trevor went to a game in this year, and then we talk about kangaroos.

Fortnight 30, Day 5. We both need the weekend off after a rough Day 5. We both make the same mistake on a few questions and talk for a while about mustaches, island populations, and cycling sponsors. And how is John Franco not in the hall of fame?

Someone needs a theme day break

Fortnight 30, Day 4. Our first theme day of the fortnight is a bit of a mess for both of us. We both get Q1 pretty quick then one person guesses a theme which is correct and the other has just nothing to go off of. On to Day 5!

Fortnight 30, Day 2. Some serendipity and just some plain old knowledge help Marc and Trevor bounce back from losses on Day 1. We talk about some old WHA stuff, geography and travel, and how much we love the Olympics and A League of Their Own.

A tale of two defensive approaches

Fortnight 30, Day 1. We return with Trevor and Marc matching up in the Talkpocalypse private division. One defends well and the other poorly. We discuss the Eurovision song contest, ugly goalie pads, obscure rivalry trophies, and a very obscure NBA player.

Marc competes in the 'Shaft!

Fortnight 29 Meistershaft. We'd hoped to have Shane on to proctor Marc and quiz Trevor, but alas life happens and sometimes people show up late. So, Trevor took over proctoring duties so we will all get to experience how the process goes. Marc gets a couple of the tougher questions but can't quite pull that Czech tennis players name out of his head. Trevor also puts up a respectable score in this tough test.

Fortnight 29, Day 12. Championship Day! Quite a day to say the least, a worthy test for the final day. Congratulations to all those who advanced to the Meistershaft, won their honor match, got promoted, or staved off relegation. We talk about doubles tennis, European Capitals, and things the English are good at. Does Marc make it to the Meistershaft? Tune in to find out (or just read the email)...

Fortnight 29, Day 11. Last regular season day and Marc needs a win to make the Meistershaft match tomorrow and Trevor tries to play spoiler in Doomsday North Premiership. We talk about pitching, American hockey players, and some obscure Olympic and non-Olympic sports. Then, Marc tries to shoot himself in the foot again. Will he succeed?
